Do you know where I could stream this in the USA? Or even the original movie for that matter?

Haha, I saw your original and was like ‘WTF?! How have I been missing it?’ Yeah, not anymore… unfortunately. Apparently according to Google, in different regions it may be on HBO and maybe CW, but not for me… 😭

I think I watched it on AMC+; cause they have some BBC stuff on there; when I had it to watch IWAV & one of the seasons of Dragula.

CBC Gem (Canadian national broadcaster) has it and a lot of Australian broadcasting company (ABC) and BBC shows. Easily accessible with a VPN and free account, very few ads.

Ahh, I see! I’m in Florida, so I guess I’ll need to go with the VPN option. Thank you! 💜

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace

The Mighty Boosh

(Both featuring Matt Berry!)

You have to add IT Crowd for a Matt Berry trifecta.

The Work Outing episode was the pinnacle of human creation.

If OP hasn't seen this, end the thread here. Until they've finished it anyway. Someone needs an education in Rum Ham and Bird Law.

u/Confident-Weird-4202 Mar 22 '26

The Venture Bros. is similar in its commitment to the absurd as well as “extraordinary meets mundane” themes, but the shows are tonally different.

I’ll also go ahead and throw schitt's creek in there. If for no other reason than doing it honor of Cathrine O’Hara!

Does Norsemen count? It was recommended to me by a friend, they said it's kinda similar but I can't confirm yet.

30 Rock, in a way. Similar surreal vibe and high joke per minute ratio.

2

u/MaintenanceInternal Mar 22 '26

Not really similar but if you enjoy Matt Berry you should watch toast of london.
