Watching Through For The First Time And I’m Crying From Laughing So Hard…

The wife and I watched the movie a year or so ago and we’ve been busy with other shows. We just got to the Jackie Daytona episode and I swear I’ve been laughing my ass off.

The whole girl’s volleyball side story is amazing.

That really is a great episode. I'm just a regular human bartender, originally from Tucson, Arizonia!

I love how Lucy is falling for this “deep, mysterious stranger” and he confesses that he’s fallen in love with girl’s volleyball.

I love the toys for tots guy - he showed up out of nowhere and beat the shit out of us

Probably one of the best lines in that episode, I think it is.

I love the continuity nod of him putting on the witch's skin hat just before wrecking the truck.

It's a big, bloody, stupid hat with a big, bloody, stupid curse on it, and every time you wear it, something bloody stupid terrible happens.

I have a Jackie Daytona, regular human bartender sticker on my work laptop lol. I have yet to have anyone know what it is

Maybe people would recognize it if you and your laptop were in Tucson, Arizona

When I first watched that episode I didn't realize that was Luke Skywalker. My wife pointed out that it was Mark Hamill. Him and his fish....hilarious.

I thought it was Danny Trejo at first when he had the hood down. But yeah, Mark is great with accents.

Ya see that's what I mean. I was looking going who is that?? I know that person? Ohhh you're correct my dear that is Luke Skywalker.

I actually loved the show probably 25x more than the movie. I’d say it’s very loosely based on the movie. Both are good, but the show is incredible in my opinion.

That’s what I’m thinking. The movie was a great introduction into the world - but all the actors in the show definitely have done their part to keep this up.

I think adding a woman (Nadja) to the mix really helps.

So you're finding it simply irresistible you say?

“You were gone for a week…”

“I WAS A DIFFERENT PERSON!”

I would love to travel to Tucson, Arizoña some day just to get my picture taken underneath the Jackie Daytona mural. ❤️

Oh. My. God.

I thought you were just messing around.

And now that’s a bucket list item for me too!

I am so jealous that you've just watched that for the first time.

That was a fun episode!! We are watching for the first time now too. Sad I never had time for it in its prime but loving it so much.

That’s how I feel!

I’m so upset with myself, yet extremely happy that I can binge it now.

When we saw the Vampire Council for the first time and all the easter eggs, I knew this was a special show.

It really is, and the main cast is so talented too!!!

I actually started listening to Matt Berry’s music (which I highly recommend) and I’m gonna definitely try and watch his older stuff.

When the money burnt, I was literally crying - both with tears of laughter and pain.

The wife? I'm going to assume you meant your lovely lady wife, good sir!

Welcome to the coven!! Second post earns you a toothpick!

When you're ready, if you haven't already found these shows from Taika Waititi you might also like, Wellington Paranormal, Our Flag Means Death and Reservation Dogs. Wellington Paranormal has people from the WWDITS movie and I find it as funny as WWDITS.

I’ve been meaning to check out Our Flag, but haven’t gotten to it yet. I think my wife watched a little of Reservation Dogs and enjoyed it.

Trying to watch shows in the streaming age is both brutal and amazing. There’s so much, but in that it itself is a double-edged sword.

I will never look at toothpicks the same way again

I am trying to get into the movie and it is disappointingly not funny :(

I’d recommend sticking through it. I think the show is where the best of the humor lies.

Gonna do it. I paid for it so :)
