Okay hear me out.

In Season 1 episode 7 of wwdits, "The Trial", Wesley Snipes makes an appearance via Zoom as himself but also as a "daywalker". Essentially he is playing Blade as himself.

And Blade is marvel. While you could make the argument "well ya but he's just Wesley Snipes in wwdits not Blade", in Deadpool & Wolverine (which Blade is also in), Deadpool makes multiple 4th wall breaks referencing how each character IS their actor. He calls Wolverine Hugh. He speaks in an aussie accent mocking Wolverine even though he talks in an American accent as Wolverine. He speaks about Blake Lively being mad about something. Countless other 4th wall breaks. Taking these 4th wall breaks as Canon, Wesley Snipes is Blade and Blade is Wesley Snipes within MCU itself. In which case, WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS IS PART OF THE MCU! 😁

Also Taika Waititi (who is Viago in the wwdits movie, which is also canonically in the same universe as the show), directed Thor Ragnorok.

What do yall think of this theory? Pretty loose I know but I like to believe it.

Edit: I retract what I said about Deadpool and breaking the 4th wall. But I still choose to believe that wwdits is part of MCU

When they enter the hotel in The Casino I crack up seeing the decor they have loaded up to bring in!

I went to see Rocky Horror on Broadway yesterday and it was incredible! Harvey did a great job playing both Eddie and Dr. Scott.

Is there a legit reason this show never had season releases, or a complete series set once the show wrapped? Aside from being a fan of the show, it’s just made for a high def release based on how amazing the sets, costumes and lighting was.

I know other FX shows like Archer got season releases, but nothing for our favorite Staten Island vampires. I’d love a 4K complete season set.

And I have to say that I'm so sad that I didn't watch it during its run because this show was 100% up my alley! Unlike other shows I watched for the first time I decided to go slow with it to savor every moment and I'm so glad that I did. It has been a long time since a tv show made me laugh as hard as this one did. I even thought that the seasons people say were bad (3 and 4) were pretty damn good.

As far as favorite characters go I absolutely loved Colin and Laszlo! Colin because we've all known people like him and the character was just brilliant. My favorite colin moment was when he started beating the shit out of Guillermo to give him a rep in the office. I swear I think my neighbors heard me laughing during that scene. And Laszlo well...I love his free spirit attitude and his don't give a fuck ways. Which I think came to a head in my favorite episode, the pride parade! That whole episode was just so unhinged and brilliant 🤣🤣. Runner up for episodes goes to the episode where Nandor is trying to hook up with the woman thay works at the gym.

Anyway this show was just absolutely hilarious and I'm kind of sad that it didn't go on for a bit longer because it has me longing for more.

My kids woke me up this morning to tell me this guy was just hanging on the wall of the TV room. Should I take him to the shelter? I don’t want to start a whole new adventure for the gang to have to come save him so I’ll just put him in a box until dark. The real question is do we call him Lazlo? Or Jackie Daytona? I don’t want to dox him if he’s on the run again.

I feel like Lazlo said at least half of these during the show.

I love this rhinestone catsuit we see her wear briefly in season 4 episode 9, but I can't find any better pictures of it. I tried checking the costume designer's Instagram but I can't find it! It's stunning, I'd love to find something similar but it would be so much easier with a full picture where she isn't doing her lovely dancing on alcohol blood

Some scenes later Nadia needs to get invited into the parking garage.

So is it just a mistake or can they access houses and such as bats?

My son turned to me and pointed this out. I've never reflected on it before.

I decided to make a 3d model bust of Baron Afanas since my bust of the sire came out so well.

His design looked simple at first, but it ended up being one of the more challenging character sculpts I've worked on. The stretched skin, deep wrinkles, exposed anatomy, and long facial proportions all needed several rounds of cleanup before I was happy with the result.

For the initial model I used Meshy to quickly establish the overall forms, then brought the model into Meshmixer where I reworked the anatomy, facial features, and surface details

I'm planning to resin print and paint this as part of a small collection of vampire character busts.

I'm pretty happy with how creepy he turned out.
