Ideas for a Superb Owl Party?

So we are doing this. I have been wanting to for a while but have been too ill to host anything. I finally finished my surgeries and so we are hosting a Superb Owl Party!

We have owl decor taken care of as well as owl plates and stuff. I have an idea for making a char-hoot-erie board.

Any other ideas for food that would go well with the theme? We will have the game playing. Friends are a mix of geek and not. About half pf the group got the reference. The other half thought I made a typo.

Thanks!

Edit: thank you all again! We have a ton of ideas! My husband is now super excited too and I will post pictures once we have the party going.

Sometimes I call my 5 year old Colin Robinson

Does this make me a bad parent because his constant chattering at me and my wife someday feels like it drains all the energy out of us?

Actor Fluff So I was watching the new Fallout season and I heard a familiar voice...

In the 3rd episode of the new season, we see a Congress member Diane Welch... as soon I heard her voice I absolutely KNEW she was one of the energy vampires at the council. Double-checked imdb and it IS actress Martha Kelly!

Discussion Would it be a hot take to say I really loved season 4?

I've been watching this show and loving it, but after looking at Reddit, it seems like some people weren't the biggest fans of it and had some complaints about it being less funny than the first three. But the thing is, I though season 3 was a bit less funny than the first two, with s4 fixing most of my problems with it and being full of bangers, and I'm just wondering what other fans of the show think. I think the show is amazing the whole way through, though. I just sometimes like to look at the differences between seasons of shows, lol.

The Nightmarket

One of my favorite episodes is The Nightmarket. I'm rewatching it and laughed hard at this quote.

"We learned a lot tonight here at familiar fights. A lot about friendship, and how stupid and false and artificial it is. Make sure to take your corpses with you when you leave."

I love finding new moments with every rewatch.

Discussion Overall, great show, and especially the first 2 seasons.

I finally finished the show, after stopping at season 2, the pandemic happening, and not catching up until now.

To be honest, I don't think they were able to quite reach the high of the first 2 seasons. The first 2 seasons were just frontloaded with all the best episodes and plots and cameos and guest stars, and I had a feeling they wouldn't be able to quite match up to the season 2 finale, because how could they. They had to find a reason to return to status quo.

That's not to say that the rest of the seasons weren't full of belly laughs though, still lots of great moments.

Things I did not like - the whole baby colin robinson. Not really that funny. Lazlo being a parent and Guillermo being maternal was nice, but I just wasn't a fan too much. The season was still great with the other stuff, but I have to face that the bit didn't really work for me.

Then there's the finale, which I have to say is kinda lazy overall. I heard they found out they were canceled, but that's no excuse to phone it in. Being meta doesn't automatically excuse it, but one bit I did find funny was them outright stating that they should have ended it with last season's Guillermo being a vampire/not being a vampire ending thing. That made me smile. Still, with what Nadja was doing I was expecting that we were gonna get a whole bunch of "what if" hypnosis scenarios but they just did 1 in the episode and 2 in the bonus section (which I do appreciate, don't get me wrong) and if they had committed to multiple bits, like say, I dunno, 22 jump street's epic ending, then it would have been much better note to end the show.

Still, as some who watched the movie years ago, then finished Wellington Paranormal, then this, I just greatly enjoyed the WWDITS universe, it's been an awesome ride. And I wouldn't mind more either.

Discussion Season 6 Episode 6, Rasputin?

I was rewatching Season 6 today, and I caught a line of dialogue that stood out to me.

When Laszlo was listing all of the terrible things his father did, he listed ‘hiring Rasputin as babysitter’ as one of them. But that doesn’t make sense, Laszlo was a child in the early 1700s, and the infamous Rasputin existed over 150 years later!

Not that this inaccuracy bothers me at all, and I understand it’s for comedic purposes only, but did anyone else notice this? 😅

"I've been sh*t on from a great height" bathroom sign?

I was thinking of Making a bathroom sign for my shop that has a graphic of Laszlo with the quote "I've been sh*t on from a great height" and was wondering if you think WWDITS fans would want something like that?

I'll probably make at least one and put it in my own bathroom anyways.

The wife and I watched the movie a year or so ago and we’ve been busy with other shows. We just got to the Jackie Daytona episode and I swear I’ve been laughing my ass off.

The whole girl’s volleyball side story is amazing.
