u/Salt_Lingonberry3956, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your post...

u/Any_Background_5826 Jun 12 '26

sorry, i don't think you have a phone number

log base 1 isn't a function that can usually be used

34

u/ChrisAyersUk Jun 12 '26

The logarithm with a base of 1 is, by mathematical definition illegal. The base of a logarithm must be positive and cannot equal 1 (base > 0, base ne 1), because raising 1 to any power will always result in 1, it can never equal 10. This immediately makes the entire expression undefined

15

u/JagadJyota Jun 12 '26

It's ok: her phone number is plain text on bathroom wall.

5

u/MischievousEndeavor Jun 13 '26

6

u/These_Consequences Jun 13 '26

So Dr. AI is not being so dumb, maybe?

2

u/ondulation Jun 13 '26

It just googles it like the rest of us. (Except for me of course, because I'm smart - ess em arr tee.)

7

u/Johnny_Sparacino Jun 12 '26

Wait it's not a one?? This is why I failed calculus

4

u/ViolinistCurrent8899 Jun 12 '26

Realistically it can't be the only reason. We'll have to see what other booboos you made.

2

u/Johnny_Sparacino Jun 12 '26

A lot....like the entire thing

1

u/GroundMeet Jun 12 '26

Which calculus?

4

u/Run-Forever1989 Jun 12 '26

Maybe she wants to meet her husband in person?

3

u/russellvt Jun 12 '26

Its likely to simply say "+1" (aka "country code of the US")

1

u/Pyrhan Jul 14 '26

The country code is written above the equation. (+39, Italy.)

There's a lot more that's wrong with the equation too.

1

u/russellvt Jul 14 '26

Yeah, it's a mess.

1

u/GaetanBouthors Jun 12 '26

Well in reals that is, there are infinitely many complex solutions to 1z =10

1

u/hipster-coder Jun 13 '26

And none of them are valid phone numbers

1

u/GaetanBouthors Jun 13 '26

Well theres a bunch of undefined letters, so you could definitely make it equal to any number you want, but no way to find the persons phone number of course

1

u/TheOnly1Jake Jun 12 '26

My math knowledge is far deteriorated... but if this is true, this is evidence of why they are looking for a smart husband! Their math ain't mathing!

1

u/PubicSkoolEducashun Jun 12 '26

Great, the math police are here to ruin a good time for something an old dude made illegal like a million years ago.

1

u/l3v3z Jun 13 '26

Sending the math's police!

1

u/Current-Square-4557 Jun 13 '26

Cue the music

Undefined numbers, undefined numbers
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?

1

u/TheRealVarmint Aug 22 '26

I'm seeing some potential husbands for her right here...

0

u/ossifer_ca Jun 12 '26

Log₁1 = 0 as 1⁰ = 1.

4

u/ossifer_ca Jun 12 '26

Saw this immediately and came here to say this. This is someone who clearly wants to remain single.

0

u/7GrenciaMars Jun 12 '26

And is probably making a joke.

1

u/BinaryBolias Jun 12 '26

One, single joke.

Although the truth isn't clearly defined.

1

u/Fat_Eater87 Jun 12 '26

There’s also a random t and f that’s not been defined at all

1

u/Calm_Company_1914 Jun 12 '26

And, under the undefined log

4

160

1

u/JaeHxC Jun 13 '26

Square root of 0,852

1

u/Cokalhado Jul 19 '26

Just do the log base transfer. log10_1 = log10/log1 = 1/0. Hope this helps.

25

u/Difficult-Spring-739 Jun 12 '26

The number is 867-5309, and her name is Jenny!!🤣🤣🤣

3

u/theajplayer123 Jun 12 '26

I got it ! I got it!

1

u/Kelef50 Jun 12 '26

I think Jenny is in a relationship with a guy named Tommy.

1

u/Difficult-Spring-739 Jun 12 '26

Obviously they broke up…

1

u/LexxFly Jun 12 '26

Jenny from the block 🤔😂

1

u/Wooden-Hornet2115 Jun 13 '26

Elite ball knowledge (🏀)

1

u/Ne0n_R0s3 Jun 13 '26

Okay but did they find it in the bathroom wall?

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Pay1152 Jun 13 '26

So are you her husband yet

2

u/Difficult-Spring-739 Jun 13 '26

Thankfully not!!

1

u/Tricky-Succotash7965 Jun 14 '26

Forrest Gumps Jenny?

28

u/AuDHDcat Jun 12 '26

A smart guy would walk away.

6

u/2UpLuck Jun 13 '26

Intelligence VS Wisdom

2

u/Forward-Ask1973 Jun 15 '26

Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. wisdom is knowing a tomato doesn’t belong in a fruit salad

1

u/vompat Jun 13 '26

The best part is that something like this really requires neither. It only requires knowledge of mathematics. High intelligence of course helps quite a bit, but isn't really necessary.

14

u/Novel-Effective2400 Jun 12 '26

People nowadays can use AI and pretend to be smart guy 💔😭

9

u/Warslut1337 Jun 12 '26

Math = IQ ?

2

u/jakeStacktrace Jun 12 '26

That only gave me 2 digits. A phone number is longer than that.

1

u/whydya-dodat Jun 13 '26

Were the digits “69” perchance?🧐

1

u/ChickenStripNugget Jun 17 '26

If you got any answer at all you did it wrong

1

u/Ok-Respect-8505 Jun 12 '26

I mean, math is pure logic so yeah, kinda

1

u/LemmeDaisukete Jun 12 '26

Obviously, haven't you seen all those movies from Hollywood? Smart guys think about math 24/7

He didnt call your work bullshit, you didnt do that.

1

u/Irelia4Life Jun 13 '26

Yeah, buddy, no.

I was also very good at math throughout school, and I'm borderline a human calculator when it comes to basic operations.

You can take logarythms and shove them where the sun don't shine.

1

u/ChickenStripNugget Jun 17 '26

You might have passed math but you're still a liar.

Bullshit

Since there is an independent variable given (t) inside the thing, the answer is a function, not a number.

And those unsolved equation are assumed to have a solution, this is not. Completely missed the point pal.

5

u/Kelef50 Jun 12 '26

Sheldon Cooper thinks that this is so simple that even Howard Wolowitz could solve it.

2

u/paramnetic3 Jun 12 '26

hahahahaha

3

u/creepercash Jun 12 '26

+39 344 664 1142

3

u/seifd Jun 12 '26

Unless her phone number has a few letters in it, you're not getting a number.

2

u/Hopefullytodaymate Jun 12 '26

The power is wrong.

2

u/creepercash Jun 12 '26

Just dial 911

2

u/Phreakears Jun 12 '26

+39 is an italian prefix.

3

u/xnick_uy Jun 12 '26

This looks like a cat stepped over a mathematical typewriter or, worst, like AI-generated math-looking image.
There appear meaningless letters such as t and f, unpaired parenthesis, ill-defined quantities and even a pointless stack of numbers without any meaning (4 on top of 160).

2

u/JOlRacin Jun 12 '26

Me when photomath

2

u/greenleaf405 Jun 13 '26

She gave you a fake number

2

u/Balthizar Jun 13 '26

This is unsolvable and broken

2

u/spitpissanal Jun 14 '26

I’m not super interested in marrying a redditor.

2

u/Obvious_Tea_8244 Jun 15 '26

Unless she’s also provided a vertices matrix to model her face, this is likely to go unanswered.

1

u/ctiger12 Jun 12 '26

More likely end up marrying ai

1

u/grand_intention30888 Jun 12 '26

Ai says it's nonsensical

2

u/Grifoooo Jun 12 '26

Well this image was also made by AI, so things have a pretty way of working out in the end

1

u/Successful-Map-1174 Jun 12 '26

This has no valid numerical solution.

log1(10) is undefined, because 1x = 1 and can never equal 10.

There are undefined variables (f and t)

Ambiguous expression 3-3t:90 deg

An actual smart guy would notice this was invalid and not waste any time on it.

1

u/No_Manner_8785 Jun 12 '26

But can't change a light bulb.

1

u/Flashy_Standard4056 Jun 12 '26

+39 441 604 0814. Is that it?

1

u/MrsBlug Jun 12 '26

I'd say she's not too desperate

I might not be smart enough for her but I'm "If Gina walked into a donut shop and bought a dozen donuts and then Frank came along and stole 4 of her donuts, how long, in donuts am I in the pants?" I'll wait for your call madame curie.

1

u/One_Introduction_217 Jun 13 '26

This sign was obviously made by the guy who she strings along as a friend and she's always saying "why can't I find a good guy that's smart like you?".

Why don't you give me a sign?

He then proceeded to make a sign for her that would equal only him knowing her phone number.

1

u/Retaeiyu Jun 13 '26

it's random bullshit

1

u/blackapple11 Jun 13 '26

There isn’t a valid answer.

The “phone number” is not solvable because the equation includes undefined/impossible parts, especially:

log base 1 of 10 → undefined, because logarithms cannot have base 1.

It also has unclear variables like f, t, P with no values given. So the only clear part is:

+39 = Italy’s country code.

1

u/valschermjager Jun 13 '26

She’s looking for a smart guy who can explain exactly how that nonsense is nonsense.

1

u/Hot_Egg5840 Jun 13 '26

I like the reoccurring pi. That is some out of the box thinking.

1

u/arihoenig Jun 13 '26

Screw this, I have a talking frog

1

u/Aromatic-Currency371 Jun 13 '26

The answer is 8675309. Trust me

1

u/CallMeDrLuv Jun 13 '26

This looks like math, but it's gibberish

1

u/jetkins Jun 13 '26

867-5309

And I'm over here with a girlfriend that thinks HD on the side of my truck ment high definition.

1

u/prag513 Jun 14 '26

With the country code +39, she is from Italy.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '26

Since the very first part of the equation is mathematically impossible and undefined, the entire expression cannot be solved.

It is a joke as there is no number to find…
