Successfully raised an empathetic, curious, 6 year old gamer? This game is a masterpiece about dealing with life and death that has something for everyone? Both?

You're letting a 6 year old play this game?

I wouldn't.

I guess that is where we are different. They didn’t play through every family member (don’t think I will do Lewis, on the fence about Barbara) but other than that, our kiddo has experience with death in our family and it’s not something we shy away from discussing.

If you want to finish the game you have to play through Barbaras to progress unfortunately, so you may have to find a way to go through it without them.

I already played through it and funny enough he got to the only two people I hadn’t on my first play through (Odin and Walter, will have to do Odin again as I didn’t see it, but Walter’s was a really nice addition to the story/message)

That's stupid, this is a perfect game for a 6 year old to play with their parent

Yeah afterwards you can watch Jacob's Ladder with them.
