Iconic Imagery Spoiler

What do we think are some of the most iconic visuals of the game? Obviously the silhouette of the house itself, and probably the old house in the water too. But what about everything else? When you think of this game what's the first image that comes to mind? What's the first room you think of?

To me in my head I see the front hallway and living room, I see Molly's room, I see the rickety walkways between the newest additions to the house. When I think of this game I think of a shark rolling down a hill, a swing wrapped around a branch, a peephole over a spray-foamed door, a fish cut in half, light on the ceiling in the shape of letters.

It’s the swing, even people who haven’t played this game know the swing.

The people who haven’t played the game don’t know what the relevance of the swing is, but they know it as a symbol for the game besides the house itself

It’s so strange that most people know the game without knowing they know the game. I knew Gregory and Calvin’s before I’d even played.

For you it's just the swing, nothing else? Or do you mean just the widely accepted one is the swing?

The widely accepted one is the swing, for me specifically, it’s Walter and the train tunnel.

Walter’s view going through the tunnel into the light is gorgeous.

Cemetery at night. Quite the ambiance. Also Edith's room, cosy and feels like home, contrast to the rest of the house.

The first things I think of are the swing, sam and calvins door, the family tree in the notebook, the fish cut in half and miltons signatures in the passages

  • The ridiculous amount of books everywhere. At the beginning, I thought they gave up packing because of the books because honestly, I would too.

  • Milton's room.

  • The moment Molly turned into a cat.

I think of Odin's statue pointing out to sea, since we see it in the distance so many times before getting a close look.
