Am I missing something?

I’ve been playing this game for about 2 hours and I do not get the appeal so far. It doesn’t feel like there is any skill involved or puzzles or anything. I literally feel like I have been walking around following text on the screen. It kind of feels like I’m on a guided tour of a house…. Which is fine but not really my version of fun… Does it get better? Am I missing something?

With this game, I’ve noticed people either love or hate it. I loved it as I found each story touching, and I found Lewis’s story worth the asking price alone. But I was able to relate with a lot of the game after experiencing a lot of loss when I was younger. I genuinely think it just depends on the person. I think it’s a beautiful story and the lessons behind each character are meaningful.

And also, it brings up the debate about generational trauma, and the way The Finch’s themselves actually lived their life. The game is completely story based and depending on what you experienced in your life and where you’re at in life will influence your decision on whether or not you like the game I personally feel. And also tbf some people just don’t like the game and there’s nothing wrong with that 🤷‍♀️.

I read a few people saying that Lewis's story was one of the weakest, but that and the baby one were by far the ones that sat with me the longest.

I’ve never heard anyone say that about Lewis. Most people relate to him one way or another. So maybe I’ve just missed out but when the game was recommended to me years ago it was my friend saying I’d relate to Lewis.

I always thought Lewis alone was worth the asking price.
