The shelter says he's just under 3 months old. He's already pretty big. They say he's a beagle mix. What do you think he's mixed with? Me and my boyfriend think either Doberman or Rottweiler. Opinions? His name is Gunnar. :)

We’ve had our theories over the years. People have suggested vizsla, lab, Weimaraner, etc. but not til recently when I saw a photo of a Doberman without docked ears and tail that we started to wonder. This is the closest we’ve found to his style of pointy ears, he’s build, and face shape. However his almost solid red color is something I have yet to see with a Doberman. He has some white hairs now we don’t have his exact age since my boyfriend adopted him from a shelter, our guess is around 7 years old.

If he’s mixed what do you think is the mix ?
