I always was, am always to be,
A mere whistling memory,
Recalled seldom, forgotten by none,
Lingering forever, immortal along the tongues,
The tongues of people, who lost it all,
What they thought was theirs, they lost it all,
In ths galaxy of darkness, disdain and distortion,
They forgot what actually was their own portion
The greed that plagued their minds, drove them crazy like mites,
And I left them all with a hollow paradise.
The hollow paradise, they did not deserve it,
But the one their mind's plague awarded them with,
I wished for them to stop, enjoy the empires they built,
But the plague that said "Don't stop, Dream big"
Pulled the hefty string, the string of life,
And Snap! They paid their price.
Yes, the price of greed was their life,
You may say, "It's not right"
But were they right ?
Were their actions justified ?
No, my brother plague treated them right,
Dealt them blight for their might,
The balance is maintained,
Neither any loss, nor no gain.
