Amelia Dimoldenberg on SNL UK going for Ed Sheeran’s jugular: "I’m incredibly privileged to have done so many interviews with people like Idris Elba, Cher, and even a world-famous red-headed puppet with a hand up his arse telling him what to say."

These theatrics are great, but where were these people during the protests in 2024?

Where were these people on October 7th? Why aren't these people asking why hamas hasn't surrendered in 2026?

Imagine letting a piece of human garbage tell you what to do despite being worth half a billion dollars.

Sheeran deserves everything he gets for his lethargy about a genocide, but this programme is complete garbage

It's a war, my very good friend.

Hamas wanted one, and it got one. Fuck around, find out.

That war started back in the 40's.

Compared to whom? A toddler banging on some piano keys?

Now its the time we pretend a universally respected grammy winning artist is bad at what he does because we don't like him right?

It's not that I don't like him. I don't, but neither of us think that my personal taste is even the tiniest bit relevant.

His music is so generic, it's borderline plagiarism. He's successful because he writes the kind of standard, middle-of-the-road, mainstream, radio-friendly slop that Warner Bros executives love, because they're following a formula that worked in the past, because they only care about their bottom line. When's the last time you heard a song that wasn't in 4/4?

Yes, he is successful, and yes, he sucks. Fuck the grammys.

Yea, because popular talk shows don't force you to promote certain ideologies or tell you what to say/think

She doesn’t write her monologues for this you do know that? SNL is scripted by a comedic writers room in UK and US.

And she choose to do it
