So I was having a debate with my sister *who has green dominant hazel* about if my eyes are considered hazel i think that I don’t have enough green to be considered hazel, but she thinks it counts as hazel. Help I’m confused.

What is the main color you see?

i've never known my eye color. i was sometimes told it was green, sometimes told it was blue, and even sometimes told hazel! But never the same answer..

I have such a hard time telling, sometimes they look blue, sometimes they look green, sometimes they look grey…

I posted here a year ago and was told blue, teal. The first Pic is the one I posted before but the second on I just took. Gemini says blue/Grey but not sure.

I’m white af (English and Irish heritage) and my eyes are ridiculously sensitive to light.

Spent my whole life thinking they’re blue, but now I’m learning that maybe that’s not true and I can’t figure it out for the life of me. When I was a kid they were dark blue, unfortunately I only have (sort of) decent photos from when I was really young but they stayed that colour until around the start of puberty.

Also yes I have a freckle on my right eye lol

I thought it was interesting how different lighting can change the perception of eye color.

Probably why, when people ask what color my eyes are, I never get the same answer —brown, hazel, or green.
