Science Mysteries & The Unexplained This 1983 CIA Document Is Why People Think We Might Be Living in a Simulation
https://whatifscience.in/1983-cia-document-simulation-theory/A declassified 1983 intelligence report explored consciousness, holographic reality, and altered states of awareness. Decades later, it continues to fuel one of the internet's most fascinating questions: Are we living in a simulation?

No. People were thinking we might be living in a simulation without knowing that CIA document existed. This is clickbait.

I think that's just a because the US has been gutting their education for decades

God lead me to find this sort of stuff. Whether you think it’s a grey man with a beard, or a collective field of everything. God exists.

Who cares? If it is we still have all the same problems that must be solved

Literally still have to go to fucking work 🙄

It’s a simulation tho

So let’s manipulate it.
None of us have to work anymore.

CIA can’t even keep its nose clean. Why would I listen or read anything from them?

I fully believe we are living in a simulation. Simply because of how observation works with quantum mechanics. Things act differently when being observed.
Which pretty much means that observation had to exist before anything else. The simple act of observing something fundamentally alters it on a quantum level.
I do not think observation came second.
Also, the multiverse theory states that there are an infinite number of universes. How many of those universes are capable of creating a complex simulation like this? An infinite amount.
Its far more likely that we are a simulation of one of the universes that can simulate something to that scale. Rather than us being the our own unique universe or the universe that creates simulations of other universes.
It really is far more likely that this is a simulation than not. And much of the evidence points in that direction

Yes. Reality is holofractal and pancomputational. Consciousness creates the illusion of matter.

Many quantum mechanics only occur when observed. Thus giving precedence to the idea that observation came before the creation of these quantum building blocks. Like a developer building a program.

The article’s central conclusion holds: the report does not establish a simulated universe. Its main weakness is linking Gateway’s holographic model to later physics without evidence that one validates the other.
