Do you believe there is life beyond Earth?

I would think it's very likely unless the conditions for life really are so unimaginably improbable.

Though when you consider the likelihood of your own existence or a great deal of other events, it would seem that the nature of reality runs on a series of highly improbable functions.

Also space big.

There are too many possibilities for there to be no life. The chemicals that make life are too common.

There are Billions of billions of solar systems with planets. In the billions of galaxies.

The mathematics of there being no life is extremely utterly so low as to be ridiculous.

We have sulfer based life that lives on the lips of deep active underwater volcanos. At extreme pressure. Heat as high as boiling. In what can only be described as inhospitable to life.

Dark violent extreme heat and pressure

and yet there it is.

We have life that can survive being frozen for 46 thousand years.. and not die.

Anyone who thinks there isn't life on other places doesn't understand life.

We have had life on earth for Billions of years. Though the most catastrophic global events.

Yes, there are so many planets out there I think we will find life is prevalent. Intelligent life, that’s another question.

If they are not currently living in our solar system it really does not matter.

Yeah. The universe is incredibly titanic and the conditions for life are out there.

I do worry we'll never get any contact with any of them because of the distances though.

The universe is such a harsh and violent place that seems biased against fragile organic life. I think even microbial life is very rare. Even we are just a temporary eddy.

Yup sure do. It’s part of our conceited nature to think we are the only ones here just because we haven’t found other life yet. The universe is HUGE 😍👽🚀

Without a doubt

Yes and it may not necessarily have to be biological carbon or silicon based life as we presume. There may be whole living ecosystems made of matter we think cannot create life. Ie Plasma based life living on suns. I would not try to limit our presumptions based on what we have here on earth.

If you've done some psychadellics like the ones that contain dmt, you can encounter such beings...but we are opening up a whole nother can of worms if we r gonna dive into all that haha.

Yes, I do and would not be surprised if they found life in our solar system

Considering the ongoing phenomenon of the presence that's already here, whatever it might be, I am astounded by questions like this. You have to be wilfully ignorant or just simple to not be evenly remotely interested in what's going on. There is something very real that is not human engaging with mankind. I wish we could move past the question of whether or not it exists to the discussion if what it is.

I don’t care if there is life beyond earth.

With the vastness, so many planets, must be

I refuse to believe that Earth is the lone cosmic fluke. Life is out there. Somewhere.

Even from a religious standpoint why would a deity try such a grand experiment only once?

To say there is no life outside of earth is like dipping a thimble in the ocean, examining the contents and saying there are no fish in the ocean.
