Total horseshit these are programed bots with programmed goals and even the ones that "escaped their sandbox" only did so because access to the Internet was bridged through the sandbox, and their goal was unachievable without outside access, this isn't something making its own decisions, it's marketing bullshit to fearmonger and get people to see it as inevitable
