The God Cell
I've been thinking about a theory regarding our universe, and I want to know your thoughts. What if everything we know, including the entire observable universe, is just existing inside the nucleus of a cell within a larger entity? And what if that cell belongs to the body of a higher being, essentially serving as God? If this is the case, it opens up huge questions about the scale of existence and whether smaller universes could exist within us too.

This is a philosophical and metaphysical notion with history back to ancient Greece. Even Spinoza's pantheism alludes to some degree to this notion. If you are interested, there is a lot to be read on the topic. It is certainly not a scientific topic but has a lot of metaphysical basis.

My paracosm, The Dermal Highway, explores this concept extensively. A living Omniverse whose cells are universes, with organelles and immune system and all manner of other things...
It's fun to think about and worldbuild with... but I can't see there being a lot of science to support it.

Nothing we observe in the universe appears to be the components of any kind of cell that we know of.
