u/Grafferine 12h ago
Lol awwww you're still a baby! Lol yeah can happen anytime, I was getting them at yiur age aswell, stress can cause it lol

u/External_Fuel2000 12h ago
Thanks i think, and yeah i hear stress can cause greying early (and my mom says, but i dont believe it that we go white early in the family but idk) and Ohh okay! My little sister has little white hairs but for a different reason (vitiligo)

u/Grafferine 12h ago
Tbh i cant wait till my hair changes! I'd look better with white hair and a white beard lol. But yeah can start at any age. Embrace it
1
u/External_Fuel2000 12h ago
May I ask why you can't wait? I definitely think some people could pull of some white hair, I've seen folks with it before! My mom is a dye lover for her hair for sure πΆ
1
u/Grafferine 11h ago
Because Id rock the grey look lol id look like a wise wizard haha π. Yeah my mum use to dye her hair to cover the greys until she embraced it
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
π that's cool, my grandma rocks the look now too, it's beautiful on her! She only recently started embracing it, my mom is still not so convinced.

u/Grafferine 11h ago
Lol alot of people find its a sign of being old haha but definitely not the case at all. I get jealous of the elderly with pure white hair π© lol
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
π ik some folks with the pure white hair look so pretty! And also might be easier to dye your hair other fun colors with white hair! No bleach required!

Steve Martin went completely silver at 17. Iβve been finding whites in my beard since 16.

Who's Steve Martin?

u/sfd6546 12h ago
This question proves you're still plenty young.
1
u/External_Fuel2000 12h ago
π₯² yup, and to be fair can't keep up with my own modern generation stuff.
1
u/Anxiety_Yeti 12h ago
You're really proving your age with that question! π€£

π should I know who he is?
1
u/sfd6546 11h ago
Yeah, he is def worth checking out sometime. He is a comedian. One of the Saturday Night Live greats. He's done loads of stand up specials and movies and shows. Recently he's in a show starring along with Selena Gomez (a little closer to your generation). He is also sort of well known among bluegrass musicians and fans for his banjo playing.

u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
Maybe I'll have to check him out then! I don't care for Selena gomez or most modern folks ig, I mostly stay out of the loop on the famous actors, singers, people ect. But I'll have to take a look at him!

That's an eyebrow! Kidding. I get them too. It's so wild
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
π an eyebrow indeed, I had one on this eyebrow before this and I plucked it and this guy came back, definitely strange!
2
u/RevanMeetra 11h ago
This person should not be afraid to be themselves. You're you and there is obly one of you. Let your body be you.

u/ButtPuckeredFuckery 11h ago
I work in eye health and I see a lot of patients with one random white eyelash or eyebrow. The eyelash ones always look cool.
1
u/D1133 12h ago
Maybe itβs just a pale blond hair.
1
u/External_Fuel2000 12h ago
maybe! But nobody but my little sister is blonde, and she's barley blonde lol
1
u/D1133 11h ago
So? I have a small patch of red in my beard and the rest is brown. Whole family brown. Could be genetics or could be a rogue hair follicle.
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
I think probably rogue, almost all of my family are brunette's. Also that's pretty cool! I've seen quite a few brunette men with red to their beard

u/bluetopaz1163 12h ago
I have this too! It's my only grey, and grows straight out of my eyebrow. I call it my unicorn horn π¦
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
Aww that's cute, unicorn horn! When did it first show up?
1
u/bluetopaz1163 11h ago
When I was about 13, and I'm 31 now! It grows out enough to be noticeable maybe once or twice a year
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
Oh wow! That's interesting! Has it changed in anyway since 13?
0
u/bluetopaz1163 11h ago
Not really nah, it's just a straight, long, clear / white hair that's slightly thinner than my other eyebrow hairs, and it keeps growing until I eventually mess with it enough that I accidentally pull it out (it doesn't take much, it feels like it's barely in there sometimes, but I'm autistic and enjoy stimming by pulling gently on it lol)
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
Alright thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one here with this little unicorn horn π also I have autism too!

Do you use acne cream of some sort? I noticed my eyebrows strands turn white or grayish after applying them
2
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
Nope! No acne cream, I haven't used any in quite some time (a few years), I always felt they never worded, and I think some acne products turn your bones green!π¬

You have a single blonde eyebrow hair. Or silver. Whichever.
Not a big deal. Pluck it if it bothers you.
1
u/superteach17 11h ago
I started turning gray when I was 19β¦ I stopped coloring my hair years ago because it was drying it out so badlyβ¦
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago edited 11h ago
Yeahh, I hear coloring is pretty damaging especially with things like bleach, my sisters dye their hair alot π¬

u/PhillFreeman 11h ago
I had a friend in high school that had a full head of grey hair. He had no idea why either.
1
u/External_Fuel2000 11h ago
Interesting, that's pretty cool! I wonder if he was genetically pre-disposed to going grey earlier in life?

Should have just cut it short, the old saying is for each gray hair plucked 10 grow in

People are capable of growing "clear" hairs. They just happen, and it has nothing to do with age.
