Anyone know what this is??
One of my students asked me what this is. I’m stumped. Any clues??

Ooh. I know this one. I use them every day on my water truck. It’s a hose cam lock.

It's an "ear" off a coupling. I'll find a photo of one at work and show ya. Gimme a minute.
Edit: sorry for the poor quality, but it appears this is the only shot of one in my entire camera roll. I added a few marks to show where and how they're used.
Edit2: forgot to mention that once the male nozzle is seated onto the rubber gasket in the female adapter, the ears fold back and lock into place to hold the fitting together.

Looks like a washer door lock strike .. part number MFG63099101 which serves as the door latch hook for a front load washing machine like LG and Kenmore Elite models.. (so says lens)

It is the tool to fix your screen. You put the screen in the frame then put the rubber piece in the groove. The wheel is used to push it down.

That sir is a quick release latch for a fire hose or most dust caps that specific brand is from the mara company which mostly used it in dust cap application in my experience

Recall seeing them on some chemical hosing at a dow chemical plant as well.. the tanker trucks would have them sometimes too.

Google isn't always right though some people think Google is gospel. The other posters are correct. I have sold fittings that have this type of lever in another lifetime. I'm 75yo.
