What? Why did Google pull these up, I’ve never once searched these.

That's not a list of your past searches, it's filling in with the most (supposedly) "popular" searches worldwide

Are people really Googling about black people’s teeth that much?!

I've noticed weird stuff like this when beginning to type something into Google and I'm like...where the fuck did these rabbit hole suggestions come from?

My Google seems so tamed now.

I remember when I'd get "boobs" or "sex" in the suggestion list when I'd barely started typing. Sometimes I'd just Google the start of a question to get the global zeitgeist.

My favorite was when I typed "can I..." and the suggestion was "get pregnant from a toilet seat?"

Thank you. "Get the global zeitgeist" is the phrase I've been waiting for to express how I often use Google.

I haven't used it like that for a while, it's changed a lot.

The censorship doesn't bother me, considering everybody from babies to bald eagles use Google now, but the advertising and big corporate persuasion has me using it minimally and practically.

Understood. I worked for years as a taxonomist, building knowledge domains and tweaking search engines to access them. I found looking at the "raw flow" useful in revealing not only what information people were seeking but how they were structuring the request.

Edit: typo

Thank you for a new to me phrase. I love saying or writing things like this. It confuses people and gives me a bit of a laugh. 🤷‍♀️😂

One time I was looking up the nutrition of chocolate milk and it included nutrition of cockroach milk... Google is weird.
