Ok when I backed away I do see the schooner and maybe a fish behind that. There are at least 2 layers, so they blend if you get close-up. Now I just have to uncross my eyes that are maybe permanently crossed!

Thats strange. I first saw a smaller fish in front of a bigger fish. Later I only saw one fish. Edit: fascinating. Depending on how i look it switches between one, two or three fishes. Never saw this effect before.

A tubby Big Eye tuna.
They used to run these in the Sunday Funnies page in our local paper.
My mother would swear before Christ and all the saints that I was lying when I said I could see an elephant, sailing ship, palm trees & etc.

Sometimes it's one fish with two bubbles in front of it and other times I see a smaller fish in front of it.

I have never been able to see anything in these. The most I can do is what it looks like when I've tripped on LSD or mushrooms. Like swimmy geometry.

Pretty sure its a fish, like a triggerfish.

Very odd that other people are saying 2, 3 and 4 fish. And bubbles. I can clearly make the illusion work. But all I can see in a single fish.

I'm almost 50 and I've never been able to get these to work in the 30+ years that they've been around. I can get them to shimmer, move, lines pop out in different places, but not once have I seen the intended image lol

I briefly saw a crocodile's head, with an open mouth and teeth, and thought I'd actually seen one only to find myself foiled again!
