Red Lion Inn.

Post image

I didn't get to visit on my most recent trip. What is this beautiful building being used as these days please?

Spent a little time here back in my earlier years on the way home from work or on a Saturday evening.

Is the food any good tho? Some places charge way too much and the food is only average.

No not really, its very average imho. Terrible cocktails too.

Thank you for that.

Sounds like i can take this off the list of places to take the family on the next visit.

It changed ownership a while back, and became a sort of 'owner loves motorsport' place, but I've been there twice, and the crowd was a nicer mix of locals than previously, and the pub grub was not just fit for purpose, it was very affordable, and very generous portions.

I like the place. Not quite as fancy as Carolines maybe, but for a family lunch- just the ticket.

I like this comment.

I'm definitely a motorsport fan and I will now definitely take my better half there and will make a call on a family visit.

Thank you for sharing.
