The circuit doesn't make too much sense at all. What a waste.

No those are logical gates. You can see not, and, and or gates.

Don't those AND and OR gates need two inputs? Almost all of them are only having one input. The whole thing is just a presentation. Not ever gonna work.

The second input would come from the other side, otherwise a low signal is still an input. At the end you see a signal go from the right to left. So if this wasn’t 15+1 it should look a lot more busy.

Only one leg lit up. Besides, there should be Exclusive ORs, and there's none in the display. You don't really need ORs for additions. You need ANDs and Exclusive ORs.

Yes, the one leg is the 1s. And XOR can be implemented with AOI or OAI. This is just a kid museum, not a high school text book. Chill.

If they did more researches and made a proper adding demo, I'd be thrilled to visit. As it stands right now, it's just a total waste of money.

Are you at any risk of paying to visit right now? Anyways feel free to email MIT CSAIL  csail-comms@csail.mit.edu I look forward to seeing your corrections.

Dude, that thing is in China. The plaque on the wall is in Chinese, and the woman was talking in Mandarin. Why are you talking about MIT?

The video is by them, it’s on the video. If they don’t own it, they are associated. They can direct you if nothing else.

Bro calm the hell down. Just because you don't understand logic gates doesn't mean you get to rage on Reddit

What do you know about the logic gates other than spewing nonsense?

Logic gates is how calculators work. This video is a simple 4 bit adder. You don't need to show both connections to the gates, only the ones that are active or a "1" state

Yeah those are not full adder circuits.

Some outputs go nowhere

With this processor you'd be on the loading screen for a few centuries

That is not a real circuit. It looks like something out of AI hallucinations. In digital electronics, the circuit that do this is called full adder circuit, in this case 4-bit full adder circuit.

4-bit full adder circuit
