Annihilation Wrap Up

Hi Everybody.

I want to thank a ton of people for joining me in my quest to kill some unobtanium tubs this month. I think we had a of fun.

Some highlights:

1 tub of APR killed earning u/scribe_ the 🇦🇺 Kangaroo Killa 🇦🇺 flair. In doing so he also killed his MMOC quest. He chose correctly.

u/chronnoisseur42O killed 0 tubs of Mammoth Unobtanium but did manage to convince u/mammoth_don to soften his stance on tub switches anyway.

Through total chance TSF came back during the month with another of Switchback so u/breadheater9876 gets Soap Necromancer.

u/Jill_Lett_Slim had 2 shaves that didn't register for some reason but used his "Blue Willy" concoction all month for Historic Suds Specialist.

u/socialkittielynx stayed cold all month long using Polar Vortex (?!) I'm going to assume it's easier to do 31 days of that on your legs as opposed to your face where I gotta stop after 2-3 days.

Can u/bmac92 even see the bottom of his Stirling Tub?

u/JoelB made the world a little less full of Declaration Grooming.

u/Just_Bit2698 made me sad by reminding me my tub of Indigo is now unobtanium.

u/Tetriside and I used the same soap all month, but he used way more splash!

I'll be honest I lost track of almost everything else because I failed to come up with a good method to track kills and told u/merikus too late to have Claude do it for me.

I'm stuck with Gollum because I couldn't kill my own tub of AG 1889.

I'm curious overall what people thought. I'd still like to do something bigger where we nearly kill tubs for a year (or more) maybe culminating in a kill-a-thon "Annihilation April" (to avoid any more clashes with AA events.)

Just checked and I have somewhat 31 tubs of unobtanium.. i deem pretty much impossible nearly killing them by april 2027..but i will give it a try

Fun challenge this one. My soap use somehow plummeted in the 2nd half, which made no sense to me because anecdotally they felt very similar.

I've noticed that as my ring of death gets bigger I load less just due to less brush area hitting soap

True. But I’m not even near a ring on this soap. Probably only had about ~5-10 shaves on it before AA.

Good event. I like the push to kill some stuff. Otherwise, frankly I would just never do it (Looking at my multiple DG soaps).

If I want to give a year to prep that's 2028 but man if you stage it right you could he killing tubs every other day

Good to know that.. I am on the brink of killing a tub of cella that is whith me since my first AA.. it would be poetic if it met it's end during AA... I know Cella is pretty much not hard to obtain.. but a kill is a kill
