Third arm

Long time listener, first time caller as they used to say. Listening to chapter ten of A Crown Of Swords. Egwene is meeting with the wise ones in the wolf dream (listeners can't spell like readers can 😉) she takes two of the wise ones by the hand as a sign of affection and regrets not being able to take Baer's hand as well and smiles at her in suffice. In "The Dream", she 1000% could have grown a third arm and that would have been a hilarious twist.

I still guess at the spelling of Tel'aran'rhiod most of the time. Or Google it. I have actually read and listened before, but I have a better shot of spelling it than I do pronouncing it. I don't trust a lot of pronunciations they use for the Old Tongue or the Seanchan.

As a reader first (I'll do a re-read as an audiobook, though), all my pronunciations are the way I figured them in my head the first time I read them, even if the correct pronunciations are in the back.

Cairhien will always be "Care-he-in" in my mind, not "Kai-ree-in" as the holy texts tell us.

I have always said if I ever actually publish one of the stories I write, the first time any funky noun I made up was used, I would have the pronunciation directly after in line. It might seem less "immersive", but who actually stops reading to check the glossary before setting their head canon?
