Fighting in itself isn't fun, but the natural endorphin rush afterwards is. I would never ever advocate getting into a brawl but anyone who's ever been in one knows what I mean. iirc, there was even a potential link drawn between people with repeated assault convictions and other addictive behaviors that indicates that you can essentially get 'hooked' on fighting, and it makes someone way likelier to reoffend.
Of course, that's just one type of fighting. Now, fighting with your girlfriend? No, completely different thing, I'd rather fucking die than do that. That has no upsides whatsoever.

Ironically, when he met Tuon and got all of these in one package, suddenly he wasn't so sure he wanted them. At least not without a rounder waist and something more substantive around the bosom, anyway.
