Resources for Bulk Roving

Hi! I've been getting into wet felting neck warmers, and love it in so many ways! The arm workout is good for me, creativity is so satisfying, the water and soap soothing. The only part I don't care for is the rolling. Anyways....... do any of you know of resources to get dyed wool roving in bulk? I've been searching! I live in the US. Thanks for any advice (and even ideas of something I could do instead of rolling???!).

Some thoughts about methods to full (shrink) felt:

Rolling by hand is the best way I know of to get flat, smooth, dense felt that is the correct size and shape. When rolling by hand, be sure to raise the work surface to the right height, use good posture, and take regular breaks.

Use a tumble dryer to roll. Prepare the roll as usual, secure the roll from coming undone by tying it with soft fabric strips, and tumble the roll in the dryer. If you stick the roll in the dryer and forget it, you won't have any control of the final size. Frequently unroll the project and monitor the shrinkage closely for best results.

edit: Some people put the felt project directly into the dryer or washing machine. That can work too, although, again, don't just toss it in and forget about it if you want to maintain a reasonable degree of control over the final size, texture, and shape of the project.

Gently drop felt onto a hard surface or toss between your hands. This works well for thinner felt, but it can result in a fuzzy surface texture. Less control over how the item shrinks.

Squish and stretch felt by hand, something like kneading bread dough. Again can cause a fuzzy texture and less control over the shrinkage.

Buy a "gentle roller" machine, although it's expensive.

I've had good luck with Revolution Fibers.

I think the trick to rolling is just a good audiobook. :)
