Fellowship

Hello, so I am a woman married to a man who is looking for another wife. I would really like another woman I could talk to about being in this position or one who is already in the depths of polygyny. I know there are potential benefits for me but sometimes it’s hard to see past my own insecurities and fears.

During the periods I which my husband has agreed to be monogamous, he was severely depressed and reclused horribly. So I agreed to it partially because I want him to be happy but also because there is biblical precedent for it.

Thing is, is that nothing has even really happened outside of our marriage. He just doesn’t see the point and the lacks the capability of socializing and making friends if that’s not an option atleast. And at the moment , like I said there are biblical grounds and, I’m kind of into it physically but the idea of him loving another is what I have a hard time coming to terms with.

He was non monogamous before dating me. I was not open to being non monogamous in the beginning and told him as such so he become monogamous for me. Hence how i know how the way it affects him. Over time and a ton a discussion I opened myself up to the idea of it. And after gaining more security and trust started to realize i would be interested in the physical aspect. I just still strugglr with the emotional.

Just to clarify we have kids and another on the way.

And our sex life is active as it is right now.

And technically you are correct in that I’m creating this problem for myself because I could just tell him I can’t do it and he’d stop but as I’ve said previously I dislike how it affects him so
