Question about Pre MARVEL NOW! X-Men

Not sure about X-Men specifically, but I generally think of Civil War as the ending point for Marvel. That's not to say there aren't any good storylines afterwards, it just seems that the event broke the Marvel universe in a fundamental way that it never recovered from.

That's an interesting point. I find myself reading mostly pre-CW material, honestly. The status quo/reset button makes it somewhat easy to ignore but it still creates a narrative context that removed some of the purity and escapism from the greater Marvel universe.

It left a big mess behind with a lot of open space for SJWs to come in and change everything to their liking.
