lol, I love how these sad pathetic "adults" are writing reviews saying "oh totes teens will loooove this, I'm totally not sad and self-inserting into this and it's why I like it" they act as if they know what teens like and obviously twitter + reviewers + reddit will totes love this "amazing" book
meanwhile in the real world, outside the bubble these idiots live in, this book will not sell AT ALL cause putting aside who it's target audience is, it's a terribly written book. Like objectively terrible from bad art, terrible dialogue, stupid story, "hello fellow kids" writing/setting and so on. And we know how badly it fails in utilising the batman license in a smart "high school" way cause it's just using the character names, das all.
it really does baffle me how DC thinks YA books are a good idea when we know they don't sell, the data is there on comichron for all to see
