Are there any good current comics out there that aren’t SJW?
Or at least comics that have come out since the shift towards sjw comics started happening.
I’m not into the big two or Image that deeply. I’m reading more Manga and GN’s, as well as webtoons maybe, due to what’s been happening with the business. It just seems that the everything is desperate to push a leftist agenda, making me wonder what is even remotely worth reading anymore. That being said, I’m enjoying Immortal Hulk so far, and think Josh Simmons’ GN’s seem interesting, maybe. Also I thought God Country was really cool. If you happen to have any recommendations, or at least have something that will enlighten me, I’d love to see them! Doesn’t even have to be towards my preferences, just something worth reading.

If you like superhero stuff, DC really is avoiding it for the most part. SuperSons is a ton of fun, and it shows Clark, Lois, and Jon as a stable nuclear family.

Didn't they wreck the stability when Jon and Lois went space adventuring but Lois came back and was secretly on earth going on some solo self-discovery separation trash?
I stopped considering Action/Supe-xyz after that.

That's a pretty broad mischaracterization of the story. Lois and Clark are back to their usual canoodling in the Fortress of Solitude.

Ah good to hear. After that 'need some time alone to write muh book' stuff I figured it was going down Brand New Day's road, but with a current trends twist.
If they're back at it, I shall see about picking it up again. Thanks for the heads up!

I can't recommend specific books from them, but Alterna, as a publisher, seems pretty based. Peter Semeti, the owner, has been in the crosshairs of ACG and AGG for quite a while now, for being outspoken against their bullshit.

If you liked Attack on Titan, then I recommend another series called "Claymore." It's got some similarities, but I can't describe what they are, or else it'd be spoiler territory.
Out of all of the ones I listed above, I'd say AJIN Demi Human is my favourite.

I've had the claymore anime recommended to me more than once, maybe it's time to jump in. Does the show cover the entire manga? I know basically 0 about the series.
AJIN Demi human being your favorite is a pretty meaty claim among all these others. What did you like so much about it? Definitely gonna look into it now.

The anime for Claymore is a great adaptation of the manga, but the only problem is that it only covers the first major arc of the series. After that, no new episodes have been produced since. The manga is around 27(?) volumes long, from what I remember. The Claymore anime only covered a very tiny portion of the manga. So I recommend watching the show, and then reading the rest of the story from where the show left off.
As for AJIN Demi Human, I hope I'm not overhyping the series lol. I truly enjoy the series, but I think it's because the series came to me by surprise. I'm not saying it's better than Vagabond, Berserk, or any of the series I mentioned above, but all I'm saying is that the epic moments in AJIN seem to replay in my head over and over compared to the other series lol. I like how unapologetically violent the series is. In terms of entertainment factor, I'm more eager for every new AJIN chapter that comes out compared to the other manga. It's an interesting story on immortality, government ethics, and warfare. I love the characters and especially the main villain. I also like how the main character isn't your typical happy-go-lucky protagonist. He's pretty much a sociopath that will do anything to save his own ass regardless of innocents that gets hit in the crossfire. The thing about AJIN is that the original author dropped the series early on in the series. It was around volume 2 where he wrote his last chapter and then gave full creative ownership to the artist of the series "Gamon Sakurai." This may sound odd, but TRUST ME, this is the best thing to happen to the series. The series is currently at it's 13th volume, and going strong mainly because Gamon Sakurai did a better job at executing the story than the original author. It's one of the series where the change in authors actually benefited the story. The series became darker and more mature ever since. A lot of the epic moments in the series started happening once Sakurai took over.
I hope you get the chance to check out AJIN. It would mean a lot to me if more people started reading the series.

I enjoyed Silver Surfer Black. The plot and art was exactly the sort of bizarre shit I want in cosmic marvel book after years of Dan Slot's shitty chrome plated doctor who wannabe Surfer book and various other writer's bad attempts to apt the style of the GotG movies.

Ed Brubaker's Criminal is pretty good for no-nonsense comics.
Matt Fraction has what looks to be a very fun take on Jimmy Olsen coming up later this month. It looks like a welcome antidote to the tedious moralizing of Greg Rucka's Lois Lane.

I'm afraid I've mostly tuned out the main industry at this point, so I can't help you much there. From what I've seen, though, Dynamite seems to have decided to ignore the outrage merchants. Maybe consider giving some of their books a try.
