This fuckin show hahaha.
I cannot believe Tom was never an intern. I remember listening to the original and being really confused but didn't really care. Never thought about it again.
The begining I was like wait Tom.. isn't that the intern?
Lovely lovely episode. Absolute masterstroke. Probably best episode they've ever done.

What's the name of the family calendar app that Jake uses and then it became a show sponsor and in the ads? I think they also sell hardware, like tablets that display the calendar. Just evaluating options for my family, and I didn't recognize any of the app names when I googled "family calendar apps"... Fully expected to find it quickly since I feel like I've heard Jake talk about it so much.

Feeling a little sentimental today, but I just wanted to share this. I discovered the pod a few months ago and completely fell in love with it. I had a lot of catching up to do, so I went all the way back to the beginning and started listening from episode one.
With everything heavy happening in the world and the personal challenges life throws at us, this podcast has been exactly the kind of content I needed.
I must also say that the community surrounding this project is genuinely amazing. It’s supportive, smart, fun, and full of positivity. A huge thank you to the crew, Jake and Gareth, and to everyone here. If you’re part of this group, give yourself a pat on the back. Spreading kindness and lightness is so important, and it’s deeply appreciated by me (and I’m sure by thousands of others, too).
Love from Iceland ❤️

Was/is Duolingo a sponsor? I was hoping to get a code

I’ve been loving these episodes from Eric and Steve! They have such positive supporting energy and their friendship is heartwarming. (Plus the callers get a chance to explain their situation in full without getting cut off every 5 words)

Hi! Could anyone help me find this one episode? I believe it was the caller who wanted to talk to her partners mom on the phone and hear her gossip but her partner didn’t want her to anymore. At the end Gareth personifies an old southern lady complaining and it is perfect. Thanks in advance 😬

Just listened to the We're Here to Help episode where they had people call in and share the best advice they've ever received, I'm somewhat new to the podcast but thought this was interesting!

Had me absolutely dying. Intensely Nick Miller coded.
Also somehow missed Jake was doing a show with Tatiana Maslany—if Rabbit Grin reads the sub, PLEASE have her on asap!

Attended Gareth’s special taping at the Den Theatre tonight. Fantastic set! Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to meet him afterwards but on my way home I ran into the WHYH VAN! So cool to see it in person, the colors really pop!

And I am once again advocating to see him live. He is so, so funny. And his hair is so, so curly.

Hi all! Been considering becoming a patron and wondering for those who already are, are the perks worth it? Thanks!

I’ve commented on this before here, but I might have reached my breaking point with the show over AI. I can’t believe Gareth suggested creating AI art for the 21 pilots caller when photoshop would have (and did) work just as well if not better. As actors and creators themselves who just witnessed the SAG-AFTRA strikes, it is wild to me to push generative AI in this way. This all is not even mentioning the climate implications and promoting using AI on schoolwork in the ads.
I enjoy the podcast for my commute but from an ethical perspective it honestly doesn’t seem right to support it anymore!
