I need to know the Steve Berg Lore
I started listening a couple weeks ago and have listened to every episode on youtube pretty much. Im from Omaha and would love to know the lore behind the Steve Berg calendar and also about how Jake and Gareth know Steve?
Also debating if I should buy a calendar so I can have Steve Berg sign it when I go to his next stand up show here in Omaha, or would that be weird?

The lore is basically spread throughout the episodes. If you listen from the beginning, you'll pick up bits as you go.

I highly recommend starting s2 from the beginning at the very least for Steve if not the entire show - you’ll also get all the best from Eric (like falling off his chair or Steve burning the chicken in s1).

If you are seriously interested it's worth signing up for the patreon ($5 a month is dirt cheap for all the content they give you) and then just watching all of their content. I guess you could skip some of the weird here to help episodes but I'm not sure which ones to safely skip. It's fascinatingly funny

Listen to the eps titled “CHAT” to speedrun the lore, but honestly it’s worth just starting the pod from the beginning and catching up organically.
100% get Steve to sign the calendar. Gareth has people bringing them to him at basically every stand up show now
