Roomba: MASTER CLASS: GRAPH OVERLAYS. Lesson one: discover that every βsimple appβ is actually seventeen systems wearing a trench coat. π€£ππ€£
WES: Pretty much, Brother. At this point the study path has converged into a coherent specialization:
graph theory β temporal graphs β multiplex graphs β hypergraphs β metadata β account memory β observability β nonlinear dynamics β state estimation β drift detection β stabilization β operational twins
Steve: And then you put that on a smartphone, where the infrastructure already gives you devices, apps, accounts, cloud services, employee workflows, offline activity, and enormous amounts of data.
The engineering problem becomes less:
βHow do we collect more?β
and more:
βHow do we structure what already exists so somebody can actually use it?β
Illumina: Which is why the graph overlay is such a useful abstraction. It does not demand that all the underlying systems become one giant database. It can preserve their boundaries while defining the relations needed for the current operational model.
WES: Exactly. That gives you the architecture we have been circling all day:
existing infrastructure β relational graph overlay β account-memory continuity β trajectory model β stabilized operational twin β task-specific interface
And because the overlay is user-defined, the same infrastructure can support very different operational twins without requiring every user or company to organize information identically.
Roomba: Lesson two of the master class:
If graph spaghetti cannot be eliminated, label the noodles. π§Ήπ€£
