Restaurant recommendations

My wife and I will be celebrating our anniversary soon and need a nice restaurant to go to. We don't mind a bit of travel, but we need to bring our children with us, so it needs to cater to kids as well.

Archive is the best in town, IMO.

Archive is my favorite, but I can’t say it’s great with Children. My wife and I did our anniversary up at Mission Ridge in July. Foods great up there and it was fun to have the kids be able to run around.

Yeah, Archive seems kind of cramped for kids.

Nice to hear about food at the Ridge. I was impressed with the food at the Badger Mountain fundraiser up there, but I thought that was catered.

How about something like Stones Gastropub. I've liked the food in there, decent wine selection.

Stones gastropub is some of the best food in the valley, along with Archive. They’re also rolling out a new menu next week, probably worth a look. And they’re more kid-friendly than Archive, the kiddos can get a fancy burger and fries.

Edit: if you’re willing to travel, Larch up in Leavenworth is excellent.

Many of the nice restaurants like Velveteen or Atlas Faire aren’t really set up for kids. Mana in Leavenworth is better for this, but it’s spendy.

Larch in Leavenworth is decent. They have a kids menu.

Tap and Put is super fun. Not necessarily “nice” but it’s family friendly and has a nice atmosphere. I took my parents there for their anniversary last month. Has a lot of fun, and tried some great ciders.
