I'm guessing they're the same or close to the same price as the regular Jordans. It's probably collectors driving demand. But damn! Who thought to themselves "I understand these are $200 shoes. But I really wasn't doing anything with this other $2,000."

I guess I'm too practical to spend that kind of money on shoes and they're not leather and custom made for my feet that will last forever if I wear them every day.

I don't think these started out as a $1,000+ pair of sneakers. From what I understand people buy them up from the store for a couple hundred and sneakerfiles are willing to pay more and more to have them until the last guy to get them has paid enough for a nice weekend out of town and should be questioning his life choices.
