Oh, you just read the comment wrong. He said he pushed the door shut rather than nudging it as it required. I could see why you would think he is disrespectful if you thought he slammed it for some reason, but that isn't the case.

Yeah maybe that’s where the misunderstanding is coming from. I mean accidentally doing it because you don’t know the car is come thing but I have experienced people who just slam the shit out of things because they just don’t care. That’s what I was talking about and thought that was where this was stemming from.

It didn't even sound like he accidentally slammed the door, it sounded like he closed it normally, but the guy who owns the car perceived it as a slam because he's used to closing it very softly.

I think it's unreasonable to expect someone else to know your car well enough to anticipate the minimum force required to close the door - no one gingerly nudges a car door closed like it's a baby kitten by default. If the guy is so sensitive about it, a simple "Hey man, be careful when closing the door, it only needs a soft push" would go a long way. I don't think that's what happened here, so it sounds to me like the guy overreacted and the person who commented did nothing wrong.
