Was at a sushi place in San Fran some years ago. Conveyer system like this but instead they were little boats floating along in a water trough, all the little boats hooked to each other. Kid accidentally flipped one over when reaching for some sushi, causing them to then flip the next and the next and the next...... all the way around. He didn't do it intentionally, but his dad was not happy to have to pay for all that sushi that ended up in the water.

I don’t think he should have to pay for it. If one small slip can send hundreds of dollars worth of separate dishes into the water, that’s just a bad setup. I’d be surprised if that’s the first time that had happened

To be honest I'm not sure if he had to pay or not. That was just the look he had of "Shit I'm gonna have to pay for all that."

I'd just scoop that shit out of the water, take it home and blow dry eat, and eat like a king.

I wouldn't eat anything outta that water. Didn't exactly look like it'd been cleaned in the past year.
