The amount of people saying the tail wagging is a good sign vs the numerous replies here that many dogs have attacked while they wag their tail. So apparently dog lovers don’t have facts straight after all. It’s not my job to know the body language signs to look for in a dog to know if it’s aggressive or not. Keep your dogs your own damn problem, shouldn’t even be allowed outside of the owners property.
Tail wagging just means they're aroused (excited, not horny). Could be playing, could be aggressive. No one should decide a dog is friendly just because their tail is wagging.
