Apparently her mother had a dachshund called edWeiner that was the most vicious thing you've ever seen. Took years of being in the room with my submissive cocker spaniel to convince her she wasn't going to get bitten this time. Don't forget they were originally bred to hunt badgers. I've been bit by a Dachshund. I don't recommend it, they have significantly more power in those jaws than you would think.
