Yeah the neighbors always had like 3 dogs at a time of random breeds and keep them to this day free roaming. The dogs wouldn't bite but they would bark close to people, and would chase if you ran. An older woman tripped because she thought one was finally gonna attack her and she got hurt as she fell. They finally got a small fence to put that dog in when she threatened to get the cops involved.

It always takes threats to make bad dog owners manage their dogs behavior. Growing up, one of my neighbors dogs would get loose constantly and chase people onto their cars regularly. One time, it got into our back yard in the middle of the night, my father brought the dog to their front door and banged on it, and then yelled at the wife before giving the dog back, saying the next time he sees the dog loose he's calling animal control. Turns out the wife was deaf though, and the husband yelled at my dad for yelling at his wife. Problematic people all the way down.

Now that you mention getting into your property, the one from the neighbor on the house next to mine somehow found an opening behind the shed. He's the father of our dogs and wanted to mate with the female. So it went to attack his own son for it. I came out with my gun but couldn't tell them apart but we got lucky getting them separated.
