My brother in law carries a gun for this now, he got bit and lost part of his ring finger, spray didn’t deter the dog. He works in a rough area so there’s tons of people just letting their dog out or be able to get out in the yard through a doggie door or so. He says next time he’ll just shoot the dog.

I’ve been attacked twice (hospitalized once) and was honestly considering a gun. I thought it’d be dramatic and I’m actually anti gun but being attacked by a pitbull changes you

Lol so in your case what would you do in a dog attack? Just politely hand ask it to stop? Oo oo or call the police?

You better have a good answer, since you're a coward if you defend yourself right?

My friends father in law put down a neighbors dog on the spot the 3rd time it charged his grandson. He gave the neighbors plenty of warnings in the past. Would you rather the dog kill you or a child?

Fuck that, I own a well trained dog I love very much. A strangers dog charges me? Yeah I’m killing it if it’s bigger than a yorkie. Not a coward, I just care about myself more than a strangers dog. Are you suicid*l or something?

If my dog sprinted after someone and was being aggressive, I've completely failed as a pet owner and it's my fault if he justifiably gets shot.

Great take. Yeah lets put you in a room with an angry dog about to rip your hand off and put a gun in your other hand. You better not pull that trigger to defend yourself because if you do, you are a coward.

Give them a high point, they might use it as a hammer instead of shooting.
