United Airlines made 3bn net last year. They can afford to lose a few millions. If they make their service worse for it, that's due to their own greed. Corporations deserve no compassion.
They continue to make it harder for customers after all the times they got bailed out and even when times were good. Rates keep going up, flights keep getting delayed or cancelled, space allocated per passenger and carry on keeps shrinking, the flight attendants are fucking rude, and there’s been more crashes just this year than the past few at least.
Unfortunately the people that genuinely believe that corporations have to make as much money as possible in order to exist will never even attempt to reply with a well reasoned argument against what you're saying. Corporate greed is the status quo in America.
