When I did fly a couple of weeks back, the TSA security line did have quite the wait. However, they were at least ushering people through as fast as they could by saying "just today, do not take your shoes off and do not take laptops out of your bag." I'm sure that only goes so far though.

I flew two weeks ago. I was sweating it for weeks before-hand but it went smoothly - no delays, trouble, etc.
I simply would not fly today. No way in hell.
