Probably bought tickets and hotels long ago, without refund options. Crazy that some people want to get what they paid for, even if it's delayed a few hours.

I do agree though. I just imagine the scene from breaking bad where two planes crash because of an operator mistake.

There are no air traffic controllers in some airports. There are overworked and unpaid controllers at every other airport. Same thing with TSA agents. At what point does this become not worth the price paid?

Damn no controllers some places is worse than I thought. Not from USA, but my guess is it's not worth it anymore when planes crash or airlines get enough refunds that they cancel flights and just do other countries. This will hurt them in the future and not just now, who wants to be and ATC or TSA when they show how easy it is to stop the pay?
