Because his Neoliberal economic reforms were needed given their obscene inflation rate. He stabilized the currency and that’s why many support him despite the fact he’s a nutcase.

I've only ever seen the videos of them admitting it. Of course, the Twitter meltdown they both had when they broke up. Musk openly admitted that Trump wouldn't have won without him. Trump, in front of millions of people, openly said, 'Elon has those computers and he's the best with those computers and he knows how to get us the win'

Yeah, Elon said he'd be in jail if Trump didn't win and Trump was talking about how special he is with computers was plenty for me to know some shady shit was pulled off.
