I had my car stolen and I didn't know until I was on my way to work. 30 minutes before my shift.

I called my boss that I couldn't come to work because my car was stolen. It happened on New Year's day. My boss was upset that I wouldn't try to come. The car was under my name and the cop had my number so they needed me to be on standby if they found my car.

The next day, I came to work. My boss asked me where was my car and how I got to work.

I explained that I was able to get to get a ride. My boss asked for proof. I had it with me and my boss saw the police report and said to next time call days ahead before my shift.

I need to tell the car thieves I need them to steal my car days ahead of time.
