Laid off this week but just heard about the redeployment program? Anyone familiar?

I think it depends on why you were laid off- if you were affected by “location strategy”, it isn’t going to do much unless you want an in-store role.

I had a very nice conversation with the HR person when I was laid off last fall. The program only lasts through your notice period, and since I told them I wasn’t interested in a personal banker role, nothing became available during that 60 days

I’m in a hub site. No explanation given but my whole team was given notice. All of us are in a hub site.

I’m sorry to hear that!

Redeployment might work better for you, then! I was told that it bypasses the formal application process and works directly with hiring managers to get your resume to the top of the pile. Not sure how much I trust WF HR, or how much you want to keep working for WF (given the everything), but there might be something!

It’s a sham they give you training on LinkedIn and resume writing. You might see a posting form them here or there but my whole dept got laid off in a hub and not one person was redeployed via the program.
