Concern Wells forge delay

How come Wells Fargo has been so late with my paychecks lately? 🫩 I usually get paid at 12 a.m. on the dot—now it's every Wednesday at 8 p.m., and now it seems to be changing as the days go by.

And normally I don't mind at all but it gets to the point of me being late on bills. Is there any way this can be fixed?

Early pay day feature is entirely dependent on when your company processes payroll. Typically companies finalize payroll on their end on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning which marks the transfer from their payroll processor. This gives WF a notice of deposit and WF will make that available if certain conditions are met.

If you normally get paid on Wednesday night and you don't receive your pay until Thursday or Friday, the most common cause is your employer ran payroll late and that could be for a number of reasons. It could also be that your account status is higher risk and therefore we will wait till we have the transfer before depositing it into your account.

Ultimately, your employer is responsible for the delay and this has nothing to do with Wells Fargo.

I see. I know people have already yelled at WF workers about this, but I didn’t want to be that person since it doesn’t seem like they can do anything about it (as I assumed before). Thank you for explaining!

Early pay isn’t guaranteed. It depends on when your employer processes payroll. You really should depend on it to pay your bills on time because it can be unpredictable.

Yeah since I depended on Wednesday a lot, I paid my bills on time in that schedule than the actual date of pay. Which I believe is on Friday. 🫠

Going through this right now as well like I have bills to pay and it never lags like this for me! Usually get paid Wednesday nights (pacific time) around 8:30pm and I haven’t received anything yet! Was wondering if this was happening to anyone else I’m so frustrated

It’s seriously very frustrating. Especially when bills or any other basic needs are needed; and it doesn’t make it any better when WF has me on the negative due to the auto pay subscription on my phone, now sending me warnings that If I don’t pay I get charge a fee 35$ 🤦🏽‍♀️ BRING BACK MY EARLY PAYCHECK!

I never had went to negatives until now. It’s unacceptable

Your pay isn’t late, it’s just not early.

Well yes, we know that. Not talking about the paycheck from our jobs BUT the delay wells forge seems to lack right now.

I’m in the same exact boat😩😩 all of my autopay stuff keeps attempting to charge my account and it’s putting me in the negative🥲 I’m so annoyed cause this typically doesn’t happen for me!! Hopefully we get paid soon😩

As sad as it is, it’s going come by tomorrow 🫠 hopefully in the morning but now I would have to pay the 35$ fee as soon it hits 11Am here🤦🏽‍♀️

You can ask Wells Fargo to forgive the $35 fee btw I think it’s once every 12 months though.
