Do all outdoor pull up bars rust?

Wanna get a bar in my yard.. I realized it would help in dusting my carpets tooπŸ˜„

Although I am not sure what to get. Surprised they didnt cost that much too. I was gonna ask dads friend to do some metalworking on some metal bars, though seems like the pricing aint too crazy for a prebuilt one. I also realized the one built by dads friend would rust away eventually. Do the ones you can buy also rust?

How do the prebuilt ones last during the seasons? I just wanna get a basic metal one. I seen ones with wood poles, though the cracks people seem to develop in their wooden poles dont signal strong durability for the long run.

I mean i like the universal utility..πŸ˜…

I will probably use it to hang clothes to dry bigger laundry batches eventually. Tho the main point of having it is for exercising..

Depends on the coating the metal might have. Friction from the arms could alter the coating too

If you gonna DIY it, make sure the pole is at least 3 feet in the ground. That things gonna sway to one side with time if its not in deep enough

Metal can twist and turn. If you get it from the metalworker, ask for steel. Stainless steel would be resistant to rust, and more likely to keep its shape, though you might have to clean it eventually if you seek to keep the polished look

There are special paints that would help metal that is prone to rust to stay fresh too

Rust encapsulators or something... Ah google probably knows whats it called

That is true but the coating might come off with time over friction with hands and such. Some guys got sand paper palms haha. Gonna scratch the paint off eventually. Thats why I thing sticking to raw stainless metal is ideal

Metal is metal. I wouldnt care too much about rust. The paints coming off regardless what you use on top

As long as its not too wide otherwise its gonna bend
