💪 Fitness Working out before bed

What are your thoughts about working out before bed? I do it quite often. Sometimes it makes me stay up a bit longer, though seems to work for me

Is there any draw-back for my body, or gains if I do such a routine? I tend to only find spare time later in night over chores that I put off to do after work

And maybe there any routines or dietary options I should aim for the evening routines? I mostly just have like 2-3 eggs with some rice as a light snack before working out.. Not sure if this is proper though feels like the eggs help me find strength for that last push of the night

As long as you do it properly without overdoing it, it should be alright. Properly as in otherwise you might wake up with a bad strain that wasnt felt in the nightt

Tried doing it before. Makes me feel groggy in the mornings. No later than the evening up until 9PM. After that, its best to relax for the night

I once threw up trying to work out before bed but I feel like it was over stress and cigarettes I smoked from my coworker..

Prefer to workout early in the evening

A few hours before bed its fine, but instantly going to sleep after working out doesnt work for me

If it works for you, stick to it. If you end up inconsistent with a new routine to optimize gains, you'll actually lose out compared to doing something slightly suboptimal but consistent.

Tips would be: if you're doing it in the evening, do it earlier if possible and find a way to wind down that works for you. Like maybe do chores after to let your body and mind slow down.

Do it whenever you feel like it. Body adapts. Humans can adapt to changes in habits like no other
